Immune Boosting Vitamin C dressing with persimmon, plum and acerola

Persimmon and acerola are rich in vitamin C, which is effective in reducing fatigue, boosting immunity, preventing colds, and anti-aging!

Hello, everyone!

Persimmon and acerola are high in vitamin C and anti oxidants.

It helps strengthen our immune system, preventing colds and improve blood circulation.

Umeboshi (Japanese plum) is an essential ingredient for Japanese athlete to have on their diet. It is rich in amino acids which helps reduce muscle soreness and speed muscle recovery.

The persimmon pairs incredible well with the citrus from the plum and acerola berries. It adds a sweetener and creaminess to the dressing.

 

1 persimmon

50gr of frozen acerola

2 plum “umeboshi”

Juice of 1 orange

2T of olive oil

Salt to season

  1. Remove the plum seeds, peel off the persimmon and orange skin.
  2. In a blender add all of the ingredients and blend it until smooth and creamy.

 

You can also enjoy this dressing with a simple green salad, dips or any dish you are making.
